Factual information, not advice. Every company is measured the same way, against published criteria. Nothing here recommends a firm, plan or trade, or knows your circumstances.
The short version
- From day 1 to day 15. That's how soon the 12 accounts sold at $50K could pay you if you made 1% every trading day. Soonest: Funded Trading Plus Instant Program.
- 7 of 13 have a consistency rule and 8 cap the first payout, so a big week can mean waiting longer or taking less. At Goat Funded Trader, profit above the cap is removed, so stop once you reach it.
- All 13 are simulated accounts by the firms' own words. You're paid a share of demo profit, under the firm's rules.
- Use the planner below with your own size and pace, then check the conditions under each account.
What straight to funded means
With most prop firms you buy a challenge, hit a profit target without breaking the rules, and only then get a funded account. A straight-to-funded account skips that. You pay once, get the funded account, and the profit you make counts towards a payout from your first trade. Firms call it instant funding, direct funding, an instant account, or give it a name of its own, like Tradeify's Lightning or Lucid's LucidDirect.
What it doesn't skip is the payout rules. Without an evaluation to filter traders, firms lean on them: a wait before the first request, a profit goal, a consistency rule, a cap on the first payout. Those decide how soon you see any money, which is what this guide is about. For loss limits, news and weekend rules, see our instant funding guide.

When you could first be paid
The planner runs each account's payout rules forward a day at a time, at the size and pace you pick, to the first day you could ask to be paid. It's the best case, every day a winner, so treat it as the soonest possible date.

Picks by what you need
All at $50K, making 1% every trading day. Each pick is the soonest first payout among the accounts that meet it.
The catches at payout time
Across the 13 straight-to-funded accounts here:
- Profit over a cap can disappear. 3 accounts remove profit above a cap instead of leaving it for the next payout. On Goat Funded Trader's instant accounts at $50K, the first two payouts can take at most $3,000 of profit. Making 1% a day you'd pass that on day 8, but you can't ask until day 15. Keep trading and the extra, $2,500 by then, is removed. Once you hit the cap, stop.
- Simulated money. All 13 accounts are simulated by the firms' own words. Your payout is a share of demo profit, paid by the firm under its terms.
- The fee stays spent. 8 of 13 never refund the fee, so it only comes back out of your payouts.
- The rules keep going after the first payout. Most accounts have a cycle, a cap or a consistency rule that applies to every payout, not just the first. Each firm's are listed under Firm by firm.
Straight to funded in futures
In futures, “straight to funded” is the usual name for these accounts. The 2 we track are close to twins: the same profit goal before the first payout, the same 20% consistency rule and the same cap on what the first payout can take. They differ on price, the minimum payout and what happens later. At $50K:

Or pass a challenge?
A straight-to-funded account costs more than the same firm's challenge, and its payout rules are often tighter. A challenge costs you time instead: the days to pass, then the funded account's own wait for a first payout. If you pass most challenges first time, the challenge usually wins. If you'd need two or three attempts, straight to funded can come out cheaper and sooner.

Goat Funded Trader
Instant Funding GOAT Model, Instant HERO Model, Instant Premium Model, Goat 1$ MODELFour instant models, all on a 14-day cycle with a set of 0.5% days before each payout. The catch is the cap: the first two payouts are limited to 6% of the account (or $10,000), and GOAT removes any profit above it, so after a strong first fortnight the smart move is to stop at 6%. HERO pays 90% and Premium has no consistency rule. Its help centre refunds the fee with the fourth payout; its refund policy says there are no refunds at all.

- All but Goat 1$ MODEL: From 8 October 2026, no payout until your largest winning trade is at least as big as your largest losing trade. source
- A 3% processing fee comes off every payout. source
- All but Goat 1$ MODEL: The profitable days start again after every payout. source
- All but Goat 1$ MODEL: Its refund policy and terms say there are no refunds on anything, against the help centre's refund with the fourth payout. source
- Instant Premium Model: A GOAT blog post still says Premium pays every 10 days, with no date condition. source
- Goat 1$ MODEL: After the first payout: nothing more: the $100 lifetime cap and $100 minimum allow one payout. source
- Goat 1$ MODEL: Fee refund: with the fourth payout, which the $100 cap rules out. source

- Goat 1$ MODEL: One Goat 1$ account per person. source
The Funded Room
Instant Funded AccountNo cap and an 80% split, but a slow start: 7 trading days, then requests only in a weekly window on Monday morning, Indian time, so about two weeks at best. Its homepage promises rewards “anytime” with no waiting periods; its own rules and terms say otherwise.
- After the first payout: weekly, Sunday 11:59 PM to Monday 12 PM IST only. source
- Fee refund: never. source
- Once funded, profit from trades closed in under 2 minutes doesn't count. source
- Profit from trades opened or closed within 3 minutes of big news doesn't count. source
- Refusing a risk-assessment interview can mean payouts are withheld. source
- Its homepage says you can request rewards anytime with no waiting periods; its rules and terms set the 7 days and the weekly window. source
FundedSquad
Instant Lite, Instant Pro, Instant FlexNo profit goal and no consistency rule, so a payout can follow 4 or 5 days of 0.5% profit. The costs show up elsewhere: a 70% split on Pro and Flex, a cap on open losses (1.5%, or 1% on Flex), a 2-minute minimum hold and a fee on every payout. Its own pages give five different answers on refunds.
- Instant Lite: After the first payout: on demand, weekdays only. source
- All but Instant Flex: Fee refund: none. source
- All but Instant Flex: A 1.5% combined floating loss closes the account. source
- All but Instant Flex: Opening a trade within 5 minutes of high-impact news gets the payout rejected. source
- Trades must be held at least 2 minutes. source
- Fees on every payout: $5 to $12 by crypto under $300, $30 by Rise above it. source
- The risk team reviews the account at every payout request. source
- Instant Lite: Its pages give different answers on refunds; the terms and help centre say there are none. source
- Instant Pro: After the first payout: every 5 days, weekdays only. source
- Instant Flex: After the first payout: on demand, weekdays only, up to 4% each time. source
- Instant Flex: Fee refund: never. source

Pipstone Capital
Instant FundingFive days of 0.5% profit and then payouts on demand, with no target, no consistency rule and no published cap. But three older help articles say seven days, and a payout doesn't move the 5% trailing drawdown down, so each withdrawal brings the account closer to a breach.
- After the first payout: on demand, after a fresh set of profitable days. source
- Fee refund: never. source
- Three older Pipstone articles say 7 profitable days, not 5. source
- Open losses over 1%, or trades shorter than 60 seconds: the first time, that payout is paid at a 20% split and the account is closed. source
- Withdrawals don't move the 5% trailing drawdown down, so each payout brings you closer to a breach. source
- Every account is reviewed at the payout stage, and the review can cut or deny the payout. source
Blue Guardian
Instant StandardOn-demand payouts after 5 days of 0.5% profit, but its 20% consistency rule is strict (a day of exactly 20% fails), which takes six equal days, and 3% comes off every payout. Its refund wording doesn't say whether Instant Standard's fee ever comes back.
- After the first payout: on demand. source
- Fee refund: not clear: its refund wording doesn't name Instant Standard.
- A 3% processing fee comes off every payout. source
- Minimum payout: $100 by crypto, $500 by Rise. source
- If open trades lose 1% together they're closed, and the split drops to 50% for good. source
- Profit from trades within 5 minutes of high-impact news is removed. source
- The account is read-only from your request until the payout is approved. source
Funded Trading Plus
Instant ProgramThe quickest first payout here: from your first trading day, as soon as you're $50 in profit, with no cap and no consistency rule. After that it's every 7 days, every withdrawal is risk-reviewed, and a payout doesn't lower the high watermark, so each one leaves less room before the 6% maximum loss.
- After the first payout: every 7 days (3 days as a paid add-on). source
- Fee refund: never, once you've traded. source
- Every withdrawal is risk-reviewed; heavy margin use sends it to a manual review of 5 to 7 business days. source
- Payouts don't lower the high watermark, so each one leaves less room before the 6% maximum loss. source
- FT+ can make a withdrawal depend on passing an interview with its risk team. source
- Its program page says “Up to 100%” split; its Instant article says 80%, or 90% with the add-on. source
Tradeify
Lightning FundedLightning's first payout needs its profit goal and a 20% consistency rule, so at least five profitable days, and pays out at most a set amount by size at 90%. The minimum payout is $1,000. Its homepage says “Get your first payout in 4 days”, which its own 20% rule doesn't allow.
- After the first payout: each time you earn a new profit goal. source
- Fee refund: never. source
- The minimum payout is $1,000. source
- No payout unless over half your trades, and over half your profit, come from trades held longer than 10 seconds. source
- The trailing drawdown locks when you request a payout. source
- Tradeify can take until the end of the next payout cycle to approve or deny a request. source
- Its homepage says “Get your first payout in 4 days”; the payout policy's 20% rule needs at least 5 profitable days. source
Lucid Trading
LucidDirectLucidDirect has the same profit goals, the same 20% rule and the same first-payout caps as Lightning, with a $500 minimum instead of $1,000, and up to five payouts before a live review. Its account page advertises “No simulated payout caps”; its payout page sets one for every payout.
- After the first payout: each new profit goal, up to five payouts, then a live review. source
- Fee refund: not once traded. source
- The minimum payout is $500. source
- A trade after you request that takes you back below the profit goal can get the payout denied. source
- Its LucidDirect page advertises “No simulated payout caps”; the payout page sets a maximum for every payout. source

What does straight to funded mean in prop trading?
You buy a funded account outright, with no evaluation or challenge to pass first. Firms also call it instant funding, direct funding or an instant account. You can work towards a payout from your first trade, under the firm's payout rules.
Which prop firms offer straight to funded accounts?
On this site: Goat Funded Trader, The Funded Room, FundedSquad, Pipstone Capital, Blue Guardian, Funded Trading Plus, Tradeify, Lucid Trading. That's 13 accounts in all, 11 CFD and 2 futures. The list has sizes and prices.
How fast can you get paid on a straight to funded account?
At $50K making 1% every trading day, the soonest first request here is on day 1 (Funded Trading Plus Instant Program), and the slowest is day 15. Losing days push it later. Try your own numbers in the planner.
Are straight to funded accounts real money?
Usually not. All 13 of the accounts here are simulated by the firms' own words: you trade a demo account, and the firm pays you a share of the simulated profit. That's normal in prop trading, but it means a payout is the firm's money, paid under its rules.
Do straight to funded accounts have a consistency rule?
7 of the 13 do, by the firm's own words. It limits how much of your profit can come from one day before you can be paid. Our consistency rule guide explains the maths.
Is straight to funded worth it?
It suits a trader with a tested strategy who would rather pay more than spend weeks on a challenge. It costs more than a challenge at the same firm, and the payout rules below decide how soon that money comes back. Our instant or challenge calculator works out the break-even.
Payout rules were read from each firm's own pages on 14 Oct 2026 and are linked beside each figure. The planner is a best case, not a forecast. Prices are the firms' regular prices. Straight-to-funded products change often, so check the firm's current terms before you buy. Not financial advice.
