Every figure on this page links to the IC Markets page it came from. Where IC Markets publishes nothing, we say so and score it zero.
One benchmark instrument per market, in IC Markets's own units and on its own basis. Metals are below.
All pages read live on 27 September 2026 from IC's own sites: ic.com (global, Raw Trading Ltd, FSA), icmarkets.eu (CySEC) and cdn.icmarkets.com.au (ASIC PDS). No archived copies were needed. Swap figures come only from the CySEC site, as in the existing gold record.
| Raw Spread | 0.1 pips spreadaverage (IC states no averaging window)IC's own global spread table prints 0.01 in the Raw AVG column for EURUSD, a tenth of the 0.1 its prose states twice; the same row's Standard AVG (0.1) is below its Standard MIN (0.8), so the row looks misaligned. We use the prose figure and publish the table as a contradiction. The CySEC site shows a Raw average of 0.06. | $7 commission, round turn | SourceHide source“Our average EUR/USD spread is 0.1 pips, with only a small commission of $3.50 per lot payable per side.” “SYMBOL | DESCRIPTION | MIN | AVG | MIN | AVG … EURUSD | Euro vs United States Dollar | 0 | 0.01 | 0.8 | 0.1 | Major | Raw Spread Account | Standard Account” “IC's spreads are among the lowest across all major and minor currency pairs. |---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 0.8 pips spreadminimum (IC publishes no usable Standard average)The global table's Standard AVG cell for EURUSD reads 0.1, below its own Standard MIN of 0.8, so it cannot be an average for this account. The CySEC site prints a Standard MIN of 0.80 and no Standard average. Only the minimum is usable; it is not what anyone trades at. | No commission | SourceHide source“Account | Standard | Trading Platform | MetaTrader | Commission | (per lot per side) | $0 | Spreads from | (pips) | 0.8” “EURUSD | Euro vs United States Dollar | 0 | 0.01 | 0.8 | 0.1 | Major | Raw Spread Account | Standard Account” |

| Raw Spread | 0.492 points spreadaverage (no averaging window stated)The spreads page table has no unit; IC's own FSA specification sheet labels index spreads in index points, which we apply. The sheet's US500 average (0.31) differs from the page's (0.492); the page is used as the fuller, more current table. One table row covers all accounts. | No commission | SourceHide source“SYMBOL | DESCRIPTION | MIN | AVG … US500 | US SPX 500 Index | 0.200 | 0.492 | All Accounts” “Symbol Minimum spread (Index Point) Average spread (Index Point) … US500 0.20 0.31 0.5% 0% variable 0.1 250 0.01 Index Point USD” “US500 | US SPX 500 Index | All Accounts | MIN: 0.20 | AVG: 0.36” |

| Leverage · FSA (Seychelles) | 1:2000IC contradicts itself. Its tier table puts major indices at 1:2000 (0-25 lots); the product card on the same page, the indices page and the specification sheet's 0.5% margin all say 1:200. Both are published; we do not reconcile them. US500 is assumed to be a “Major Index” — IC does not list which indices are major. | SourceHide source“Indices CFDs | Max Leverage | Higher Margin Requirements | Instrument | 0-25 Lots | 25-50 Lots | 50-100 Lots | 100+ Lots | … Major Indices | 1:2000 | 1:1000 | 1:500 | 1:100 | 1:500 | 1:200 | 1:100 | 1:50” “Indices | Max Leverage | 1:200 | Trade Global indices like US 30, S&P 500 and UK100.” “25 Indices to trade from | Leverage up to 1:200” “US500 0.20 0.31 0.5% 0% variable 0.1 250 0.01 Index Point USD” | |

| Raw Spread | 0.034 (no unit given) spreadaverage (no averaging window stated)No unit on the page. Read as a price difference it is 3.4 cents a barrel ($3.40 a 100-barrel lot), but IC never says so. The specification sheet gives 0.26 “pips”, which does not reconcile with the page and whose gold figure (0.63) is also far from the page's 0.09, so the sheet looks stale. | No commission | SourceHide source“SYMBOL | DESCRIPTION | MIN | AVG … XTIUSD | WTI Crude Oil Spot vs United States Dollar | 0.030 | 0.034 | All Accounts” “Currency Code Currency Pair Minimum Spread (pips) Average Spread (pips) … XTIUSD Crude Oil in Dollar 0.00 0.26” “XTIUSD | WTI Crude Oil Spot vs United States Dollar | 0.01 | 0.03 | 12.910 | -21.306” |

Leverage on gold is set by the company you are actually onboarded to, not by the brand. A broker can offer 1:1000 through one entity and a fraction of that through another, for the same instrument on the same day.
IC's own specification sheet still says 1:1000, which looks to pre-date the tiered scheme. The top rate is also withdrawn at weekends and around news, so read it with the leverage windows below.
“Metal CFDs — Instrument: Gold (XAU) | 1:2000 | 1:1000 | 1:500 | 1:100 | 1:200 | 1:100 | 1:50 | 1:50 (Max Leverage tiers 0-25 / 25-50 / 50-100 / 100+ Lots, then the same tiers under Higher Margin Requirements)”

A broker is holding your own money rather than paying you a share of profit, so the only question is how easily it comes back.
IC Markets advertises withdrawals as free, and then reserves the right to charge in its own client agreement where a deposit was not traded. Both the claim and the clause are quoted below.
No IC fee on deposits or withdrawals — but IC reserves a processing fee where deposits were not used for trading, and international bank wires may attract intermediary/beneficiary fees.
“IC does not charge additional fees for deposits and/or withdrawals. However, you should be aware that additional fees may occur at some banking institutions. IC is not responsible for any additional bank charges.”
“Funds in your trading account(s) are intended solely for trading purposes. Therefore, a processing fee may be applied to your withdrawal if your deposits have not been utilised for trading.”
“Withdrawal requests cut off time is 12:00 AEST/AEDT. If your withdrawal is submitted before this time it will be processed on the day of receipt. If your withdrawal is submitted after this time it will be processed on the following business day.”
“Withdrawals must be made to the same e-wallet account from which the original deposit was received. No internal withdrawal fees are charged. Any fees applied by the e-wallet provider are not the responsibility of the Company. ... This applies to all supported e-wallets, including but not limited to Neteller, Skrill and PayPal.”
“Under the Anti -Money Laundering Act 2020 of Financial Services Authority of Seychelles, IC is required to verify your identity before opening a trading account for you. Identification must be provided in the form of photo ID and proof of address to enable us to verify your identity.”
“How long does it take to approve my account application? Account verification usually takes a few minutes but can take a couple of hours in some cases.”

Charges for leaving the account alone scores zero because the firm publishes nothing we could read. Nothing is filled in with a guess.
This score is about getting paid, not about trading rules. It is never averaged into the Freedom Score: a firm can have the most generous rules on the board and still be the hardest place to get money out of.

Where the broker published a figure at all, we print it in the broker's own units and leave it there. Converting an undefined unit would mean guessing, and a guess here changes the answer by a factor of ten.
