We read 0.09 as US$ per ounce, because the same column prices silver at 0.021 and nickel at 250, which are only sensible in price terms. Tickmill never states it. The table is also not labelled by account type; we read it as the Raw account because Tickmill says its charts carry raw spreads and tells Classic users to add their own on top.

Leverage on gold is set by the company you are actually onboarded to, not by the brand. A broker can offer 1:1000 through one entity and a fraction of that through another, for the same instrument on the same day.
Tickmill applies the ladder on Tickmill Trader and MT5 only.
“Lots - Forex | Lots - Gold (XAUUSD & XAUEUR) | Margin Requirement | Maximum Leverage — 0-2 | 0-1 | 0.1% | 1:1000 — 2.01-200 | 1.01-50 | 0.2% | 1:500 — 200.01-400 | 50.1-100 | 1.0% | 1:100 — 400.01+ | 100.01+ | 10% | 1:10”
A broker is holding your own money rather than paying you a share of profit, so the only question is how easily it comes back.
Tickmill advertises withdrawals as free, and then reserves the right to charge in its own client agreement where a deposit was not traded. Both the claim and the clause are quoted below.
Tickmill states zero withdrawal fees on the website and in the FAQ. However its own Seychelles Client Service Agreement reserves the right to charge up to 5.2% commission on a withdrawal where there has not been sufficient trading activity since the last deposit. Third-party/intermediary charges are the client's.
“Tickmill charges zero withdrawal fees. However, intermediary banks or e-wallet providers may apply their own charges, which are outside our control.”
“viii. Tickmill Ltd. reserves a right to raise commission on withdrawal up to 5.2% in case there is no sufficient trading activity between last deposit and withdraw request.”
“We process all withdrawal requests within one working day.”
“Choose from bank wire, credit/debit card, Crypto Payments, Skrill, Neteller, or UnionPay.”
“The minimum withdrawal is 25 USD , EUR , GBP.”
“6.12.3 In case of a Dormant Client Area status, the Company will charge 10 USD/EUR/GBP/CHF or 40 PLN as inactivity fee on a quarterly basis. If the wallet balance is equal or less than 10 USD/EUR/GBP/CHF or 40 PLN, the Company will write off the remaining amount.”
“Additional verification or source of funds documentation may be required in accordance with AML/CFT regulations.”
How easily your own money comes back, scored separately from what gold costs here.
Advertised as free, but the broker's own client agreement reserves the right to charge where a deposit was not traded.

2.4 from 1,176 reviews.
This score is about getting paid, not about trading rules. It is never averaged into the Freedom Score: a firm can have the most generous rules on the board and still be the hardest place to get money out of.
Trustpilot displays: “Merged reviews and profile - This profile was merged with one or more other Trustpilot profiles belonging to this company.”
Trustpilot says this profile was merged with other Tickmill profiles, so the count spans more than one of the group's domains. A separate profile exists for its US entity.
Every figure comes from Tickmill’s own pages, quoted above with a link. Tracked since 20 Sep 2026.
The gold leverage and spreads that a CySEC or FCA client actually gets are therefore not readable, and are marked not published rather than assumed to match the Seychelles entity.

Where the broker published a figure at all, we print it in the broker's own units and leave it there. Converting an undefined unit would mean guessing, and a guess here changes the answer by a factor of ten.
