- Room to lose today$3,000
- A normal day moves0.611%
- So the most you can hold$490,998
Hold more than this and a normal day against you would break the single-asset loss limit. (Leverage of 1:50 would let you open up to $5,000,000.)

- 4%4% for both phases, calculated from the closed balance of the prior trading day and reset at 23:59 server time.
SourceHide source
“This program comes with a 7% profit target on both phases, a static max drawdown of 8%, on both phases and a daily drawdown limit of 4% for both the first and second phases/steps of the challenge. The daily drawdown (Daily Simulated Loss) is calculated from your closed balance of the prior trading day, when it resets at 23:59 server time, every day.”
2-Step Classic Program Information - Max loss
- 8% · static
SourceHide source
“The 2-Step Classic Program is a Static Drawdown program, meaning the maximum loss limit (or maximum drawdown limit) on your account is fixed based on your initial starting balance. This static maximum drawdown remains the same throughout trading and is not affected by any simulated profits or gains.”
2-Step Classic Program Information - Max loss on one asset
- 3%A true per-instrument limit rather than a floating-loss auto-close, and FT+ uses XAU/USD as its own worked example. Breaching it terminates the account in any phase, so for a gold trader this is the rule that binds, not the 4% daily.
SourceHide source
“This program also includes a 3% Symbol Loss Limit, which is a hard breach rule. This means that any single instrument (e.g. XAU/USD) may not incur more than a 3% simulated equity loss, calculated based on the Balance at 16:59 EST* the prior day. Multiple simultaneous trades on the same instrument count as one for the purpose of this rule. If this rule is triggered in any Evaluation phase or in the FT+ Trader Phase, the account will be terminated (Hard Breached).”
2-Step Classic Program Information “You must not lose more than x% (Percentage determined by your specific program) on any single trading symbol (e.g. XAU/USD) in one day. This rule is based on the Balance at 16:59 EST*. Opening multiple positions on the same symbol counts as one trade for this rule.”

What is Funded Trading Plus? - ·Its reviews and payout terms have not been checked yetOnly this firm's gold rules have been read. Its payout terms and its review record are not on this site yet, so nothing here should be read as a clean bill of health.
These are tests, not opinions: the thresholds are written down in the code and applied to every firm identically, so they cannot be tuned per company. How they work. Nothing here is looked up in a companies register or a regulator's database — what a firm publishes about itself is the thing being compared.

About this data
Checked by hand against Funded Trading Plus’ own pages on 27 Sep 2026. Where a rule is not published, we say so and score it zero.
Read from help.fundedtradingplus.com, which serves its pages normally. The marketing site fundedtradingplus.com returns a Cloudflare block to automated requests, so the company behind it comes from an Internet Archive copy of the site dated 3 Jul 2026, and the price and account-size ladder could not be read there. Account sizes for the 2-Step Classic come from the Consistency Rule article, which names them; for the 1-Step Express and Instant programs they come from the Account Scaling table, and may not match what is currently on sale. News trading is allowed per the Risk Review Policy.
