Every figure on this page links to the FP Markets page it came from. Where FP Markets publishes nothing, we say so and score it zero.
One benchmark instrument per market, in FP Markets's own units and on its own basis. Metals are below.
Every fpmarkets.com page still answers with a Cloudflare 403 on 27 September 2026, so global (FSA) figures come from the Internet Archive's copies of FP Markets' own pages: mostly snapshots of 19 March 2026 (spread tables headed “February 2026”), the FAQ of 2 April 2026, and the ASIC regulatory update of 29 August 2025. The CySEC site fpmarkets.eu was reachable and is read live for EU leverage and cross-checks.

The page around it frames spreads as pips, but FP Markets never defines a gold pip, and the columns are not like for like: Standard gets one unlabelled figure where Raw gets a minimum and an average. The 0.13 between them does not reconcile with FP Markets' own $6 commission either, so there is nothing on the page to settle the unit against.

FP Markets' live EU site now lists two gold lines: plain XAUUSD at −63.88 / +39.45, and XAUUSD.D at the −71.50 / +32.50 shown here. Which one applies depends on the entity and symbol an account trades.
“Symbol Long Short ... XAUUSD -71.50 32.50”
“The Swap for Forex , Natural Gas and Metals is calculated in Points, with the calculation formula for Swap in Points be Lots x Contract Size x Swap Long (or Swap Short) x Point Size and the point size be the smallest possible price change on the left side of a decimal point.”
“Positions in Forex and Metals that are held open over Wednesday night will incur a triple (3x) swap charge. This is to account for the settlement of trades over the weekend, where no swap rates are charged since the market is closed.”

Swap is replaced by an administration fee. FP Markets does not publish what that fee is on gold.
“Islamic accounts, or swap-free accounts, are Sharia-compliant in that they do not involve swap charges or interest on overnight positions. Instead, the Islamic account holder is charged an administration fee on positions,”
Leverage on gold is set by the company you are actually onboarded to, not by the brand. A broker can offer 1:1000 through one entity and a fraction of that through another, for the same instrument on the same day.
Same metal, same broker, twenty-five times the margin.
“FP Markets allows trading the spot price for metals including Gold or Silver against the US Dollar or Australian Dollar as a currency pair on 1:20 leverage for Gold pairs and 1:10 for Silver pairs.”
“Maximum Ratio CFD Product 30:1 Major currency pairs 20:1 Minor currency pair, gold or a major stock market index 10:1 Commodity (other than gold) or a minor stock market index”
A broker is holding your own money rather than paying you a share of profit, so the only question is how easily it comes back.
No FP Markets fee on bank wire withdrawals. FP Markets publishes nothing about fees on card, crypto or e-wallet withdrawals — unstated for those methods.
“Do you charge any fees for bank transfer withdrawals? Please note that we do not charge any fees for processing Bank wire withdrawals.”
“How long will it take to receive my funds? It will depend on the method you used, you can see the average withdrawal times in the following link. ... If you have not received your funds after 10 business days, please reach out to our cash team... If you have not received your funds after 7 business days, please reach out to our accounts team...”
“FP Markets provides a variety of fund withdrawing options designed to meet the needs of every trader, wherever they are located... Bank wire / Credit cards / Crypto / Wallets ... Enjoy Skrill and Neteller withdrawals in one business day.”
“The process involves checking the client's Name, Residential address and Date of Birth against both public and private data sources... if the client cannot be reliably identified, then FP Markets will request for KYC documents to manually verify the identity of the client. Documents such as passport, national identity card or driver license can be provided as proof of identity. Documents such as a utility bill or bank statement within the last 6 months showing the client's full name and current address can be provided as proof of residence.”
“How long does it take to open an account? Please allow our onboarding team up to one business day to verify your documents, however we will aim to have your account open within the hour.”
How easily your own money comes back, scored separately from what gold costs here.
The broker pays, with nothing in its terms taking it back.
The broker publishes no processing time.
4 published methods.
The broker publishes nothing either way.
4.8 from 10,319 reviews.
How fast it arrives and Charges for leaving the account alone score zero because the firm publishes nothing we could read. Nothing is filled in with a guess.
This score is about getting paid, not about trading rules. It is never averaged into the Freedom Score: a firm can have the most generous rules on the board and still be the hardest place to get money out of.
Every figure comes from FP Markets’ own pages, quoted above with a link. Tracked since 20 Sep 2026.
FP Markets also holds FSCA, Mauritius FSC and Kenyan CMA licences that publish no gold-specific leverage, and it does not serve UK residents at all.
