Smaller still: GOAT Funded Trader sells a $1K instant account for $1. It gives $60 of room, and its own help page says the account expires 28 days after activation. Think of it as a trial, not a cheap way in.
The fair way: price per $1,000 of room
Two $100K accounts aren't really the same size. One that closes at a 5% loss gives you $5,000 to work with; another that closes at 6% gives $6,000. So we divided each price by the room it buys. This is each firm's best value instant account at $100K, CFD and futures together, with its price and the room it buys:
The two futures accounts land in the middle. Their loss limits are smaller for the account size ($4,000 on Tradeify's $100K, for example), and every position has to be closed each afternoon, so compare them with that in mind. Room isn't everything either: a max loss that trails your balance gives you less in practice than a fixed one, because it moves up behind you.
Find the cheapest for your room
Move the slider to the most you'd want to be able to lose, and tick what you need. You'll see the cheapest size of every instant account that gives at least that much.
Cheapest instant account for the room you need
“Room” is how much the account can lose before it's closed. Choose how much you want, and see the cheapest way to get it at every firm.

Fees that come back
Only GOAT Funded Trader says an instant fee comes back, and not quickly: it's refunded with your fourth payout, and lost if the account fails before then. GOAT's refund page. Everyone else either says no or doesn't say, so budget for the fee as gone.
Instant vs the same firm's challenge
Every firm here also sells a challenge at $100K. This is how many times the price of its cheapest challenge you pay to skip it (instant price vs challenge price under each name):
At most of these firms, failing a challenge once or twice before you pass closes the gap. Funded Trading Plus is the exception: you'd have to fail its challenge eight times before instant came out cheaper. Our instant funding guide has a calculator for this.

Two futures firms we track sell an instant account: Tradeify's Lightning and Lucid Trading's LucidDirect. Both are one-off fees with no monthly charge. Side by side:
| Size | Tradeify Lightning | LucidDirect | Cheaper |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | $345 · $1,000 room | $329 · $1,000 room | Lucid |
| $50K | $492 · $2,000 room | $515 · $2,000 room | Tradeify |

| $150K | $796 · $5,250 room | $836 · $5,000 room | Tradeify |
Tradeify is a little cheaper at most sizes and gives more room at $100K and $150K. Neither refunds the fee. Read our Tradeify review for how Lightning's payout caps work, because they decide how much of a good month you can take out.
How we priced these
Every price is the firm's regular price from its own pricing page, linked from each firm's page on this site, before any discount code. “Room” is the account's maximum loss in dollars at that size. Prices change often; the date each was read is on the firm page. Not financial advice.
Questions traders ask
What is the cheapest instant funding prop firm?
By sticker price at $100K, Blue Guardian's Instant Standard at $623. Counted per $1,000 of room to lose, Blue Guardian is cheapest at $104. The very cheapest account of all is GOAT's $1K account for $1, but it only gives $60 of room.
Is a cheap instant account a good deal?
Only if the firm is one you trust to pay. The cheapest accounts here come from firms with low reputation scores, and some with no Trustpilot rating to check. A fee you never get a payout from is the most expensive kind.
Why compare price per $1,000 of room?
Because two $100K accounts aren't the same size in practice. One that closes at a 5% loss gives you $5,000 to work with; one that closes at 6% gives $6,000. Dividing the price by that room shows what you actually pay for each dollar you're allowed to lose.
Do instant funding fees get refunded?
Rarely. Of the firms selling instant accounts here, only GOAT Funded Trader says the fee comes back, and only with your fourth payout. Several say plainly that it never does.
Is instant funding cheaper than a challenge?
Not up front. At $100K the instant account costs between 1.2 and 8.2 times the same firm's cheapest challenge. It only works out cheaper if you'd expect to fail the challenge a few times first.
Are discount codes included in these prices?
No. We use each firm's regular price. Firms often run discount codes (Tradeify's was 30% off when we last read it), so you may pay less, but codes come and go and a code doesn't change the rules you get.
