The short version
- Instant funding costs more and gives you less room. A typical instant account here costs about 1.8× the same firm's cheapest challenge, and the daily loss limit is 3% to 6% of the account, 91% of them at 3%.
- Highest overall at $100K: Goat Funded Trader Instant HERO Model (4.7/10). Cheapest $100K: Blue Guardian Instant Standard at $623.
- Only 1 of the 6 firms selling instant accounts has a live Trustpilot rating; 2 have had theirs taken down. The most trusted firms on this site sell challenges, not instant accounts.
- Use the finder below to filter by size, budget, news, weekends and drawdown type.
What instant funding is
With a normal prop firm you buy a challenge, hit a profit target without breaking the rules, and only then get a funded account. Instant funding skips that step. You pay once, you get the funded account, and you can work towards a payout from your first trade.
The firm makes up for the missing evaluation in two ways. You pay more, and the rules are tighter: smaller loss limits, caps on how much one trade can risk, and often a maximum loss that follows your balance up. It suits a trader with a tested strategy who doesn't want to spend weeks proving it. It's a hard way to learn.

Picks by what you need
All at $100K, each firm's best instant plan. Scores are out of 10: 40% rules, 60% reputation.
Instant or challenge?
Every firm here also sells a normal challenge. The question is simple: how many challenge attempts would you need before instant becomes the cheaper route? At these firms the typical answer is about 1.8. If you pass most challenges first time, the challenge wins on price and usually on rules too.
Instant or challenge: what does it cost you?
The same firm, the same size. Move the slider to the number of challenge attempts you'd expect to need.
One instant account costs the same as 1.6 challenge attempts here. At 2 attempts, instant is $173 cheaper. Instant also gets you trading for profit sooner, but usually under tighter rules.
Price isn't the only difference. A challenge account usually has looser limits once you're funded than an instant account does, and some firms refund the challenge fee with your first payout. Compare both on Best plans.
Firm by firm
In order of each firm's best instant plan at $100K. Firms without a $100K instant account follow, at $10K.
- 4 instant programsInstant HERO Model, $100K: $657Trailing max lossWeekend holdsNews: Profit capped at 1% ±5 minTrustpilot rating taken down
The widest range of instant accounts we track, from a $1K account for $1 up to $400K, with weekend holds and a refundable fee. The catches are big ones: Trustpilot has taken its rating down, the company dates from 2025, and it has the longest list of payout conditions we've counted.
- 1 instant programInstant Funding, $100K: $999Trailing max lossWeekend holdsNews: AllowedReviews not checked yet
The most generous instant rules here: news trading allowed and weekend holds allowed. But the maximum loss trails your balance intraday, the company was registered in 2026, and we have nothing on record yet about how it pays.
- 1 instant programInstant Funded Account, $100K: $699Fixed max lossWeekend holdsNews: Profit not counted ±3 minTrustpilot 2.5
The only instant account here with both a fixed maximum loss and weekend holds. On the other side: profit from trades near big news doesn't count, the fee is never refunded, and Trustpilot shows 2.5. Our full review has the details.
- 1 instant programInstant Program, $100K: $4,499Trailing max lossNo weekend holdsNews: AllowedReviews not checked yet
News trading allowed, but no weekend holds, and the daily limit is the same 6% as the total limit, so one bad day can end the account. It's also the most expensive instant account here at larger sizes. We haven't checked its reviews or payouts yet.
- 3 instant programsInstant Lite, $100K: $1,299Trailing max lossNo weekend holdsNews: No trades ±5 minTrustpilot rating taken down
Three instant accounts, all with tight rules: no weekend holds, a 5-minute news window, and a cap on combined open loss (1.5%, or 1% on Flex). Trustpilot has taken its rating down.
- 1 instant programInstant Standard, $100K: $623Trailing max lossWeekend holdsNews: No trades ±5 minReviews not checked yet
Sizes up to $400K and weekend holds, but the maximum loss trails your balance and there's a 1% cap per asset. Its pages name several companies without saying which one pays you, and we haven't checked its reviews or payouts yet.
The catches in instant funding
Instant accounts aren't a shortcut to easy money. The firm is taking a risk on a trader it hasn't tested, and it protects itself with rules. Across the 11 instant programs here:
- Trailing drawdown is the norm. 8 of 11 programs have a maximum loss that follows your balance up, and 4 of those trail it intraday, the strictest kind. A good first week can leave you with less room than you started with.
- Small risk caps. Many instant accounts cap the loss on any one trade or asset at 1% to 2%, or cap all your open trades together. That rules out wide stops and averaging in.
- News and weekends. 9 programs restrict news trading and 4 ban weekend holds.
- Payout conditions still apply. No evaluation doesn't mean no rules at payout time: consistency rules, minimum days and profit caps are common. Check each firm's payout page.
Instant funding in futures
Futures firms sell the same idea under other names. On this site, Lucid Trading's LucidDirect skips the evaluation: sizes from $25K to $150K, $515 for $50K, with an end-of-day trailing drawdown and a 20% consistency rule on payouts. See it on the Lucid Trading page, and compare every futures firm in the best futures prop firms guide.
What's not here yet
Some well-known firms also sell instant accounts that we haven't scored yet: FundedNext's Stellar Instant and FXIFY's Instant Funding are on our list. Instant Funding's own flagship account publishes no daily loss limit, and FundedHive's InstantGrowth has none, so neither can be compared on the same terms. We'd rather leave them out than guess a number. Know a firm we should add?

What is instant funding in prop trading?
You pay once and get a funded account straight away, with no evaluation to pass. You can request payouts from the start, under the firm's rules. In exchange you pay more than for a challenge, and the rules are usually tighter.
What is the best instant funding prop firm?
On our numbers at $100K, Goat Funded Trader's Instant HERO Model, at 4.7 out of 10. That score is 40% rules and 60% reputation. Be aware that none of the firms selling instant accounts here has a strong reputation score yet. Use the finder to match your own trading.
Is instant funding worth it?
Sometimes. At the firms here, an instant account typically costs about 1.8 times the firm's cheapest challenge at the same size. If you'd usually need two or more attempts to pass a challenge, instant can come out cheaper. If you pass first time, the challenge is cheaper and its rules are usually looser.
Do instant funding accounts have a daily loss limit?
Every instant account listed here does, from 3% to 6% of the account. Some instant products elsewhere have none, and we leave those off because a limit that isn't published can't be compared.
Can you trade news or hold over the weekend on instant accounts?
It depends on the firm. 2 of 11 instant programs here allow news trading without a restriction, and 7 of 11 allow weekend holds. Tick both in the finder to see which.
Plans, prices and rules are counted live from the records behind the site; scores are 40% rules and 60% reputation, as on the homepage. Our notes on each firm were written on 5 Oct 2026. Instant products change often, so check the firm's current terms before you buy. Not financial advice.
