4.8 from 52,652 reviews, the company solicits reviews through a paid subscription.
This score is about getting paid, not about trading rules. It is never averaged into the Freedom Score: a firm can have the most generous rules on the board and still be the hardest place to get money out of.

Be aware
Of the 9 payout conditions FTMO publishes, these can cost you money or your account.
- Can end the accountForbidden Trading Practices
Breach can strip trades from history, disqualify the trader, forfeit rewards or terminate all agreements. Covers exploiting price/feed errors, multi-account opposite positions, AI/ultra-high-speed tools, gap trading around news or before market close, overleveraging, overexposure, one-sided bets and account rolling.
Triggering this closes the account rather than delaying a payout.

1Best Day Rule (50%). Applies to FTMO Challenge: 1-Step and FTMO Account (1-Step). It does not fail the account, but it blocks reward eligibility until the best day falls to 50% or less of Positive Days' Profit. Note FTMO's own FAQ simultaneously claims there are no additional consistency requirements. source
2Best Day Rule is not a breach but delays the reward. Exceeding the limit does not void the account; it postpones eligibility until enough further profit is generated. source
3Minimum Trading Days (4). Applies to both phases of the 2-Step evaluation only. FTMO explicitly states there is no Minimum Trading Days rule on the funded 2-Step FTMO Account, so it gates funding rather than the payout itself. source
4All positions must be closed. A reward claim cannot be submitted while any position or pending order is open. source
5Trading Objectives and FTMO Account Agreement compliance. Entitlement to a reward is conditional on all Trading Objectives being fulfilled and the Account Agreement being followed. source
6Forbidden Trading Practices. Breach can strip trades from history, disqualify the trader, forfeit rewards or terminate all agreements. Covers exploiting price/feed errors, multi-account opposite positions, AI/ultra-high-speed tools, gap trading around news or before market close, overleveraging, overexposure, one-sided bets and account rolling. source
7Anti-circumvention of the Best Day Rule. Hedging, opposing positions on correlated instruments, or splitting one trade idea across days to manufacture extra profitable days is explicitly forbidden. source
8Hyperactivity / server overload (2,000 requests per day). EAs generating more than 2,000 server requests per day on individual trades or pending orders are a forbidden practice. source
9No additional consistency rule (stated). FTMO states there is no consistency requirement beyond the Trading Objectives, which contradicts the Best Day Rule being a hard gate on reward eligibility for 1-Step. source
